rekto:verso is a cultural and critical magazine that examines our society from the perspectives of art and culture, and vice versa. Since 2003, it has offered culture lovers an in-depth look at various art disciplines, social debates and cultural policy.
rekto:verso is published four times a year in print. The magazines are available at over a hundred locations in Flanders, Brussels, and the Netherlands. New (audio) articles are published on the website daily and are accessible without a paywall. The majority of its articles are published in Dutch, but the magazine also regularly features contributions in English and other languages. Additionally, rekto:verso organizes debates, workshops, and summer schools, which are often held in collaboration with other organisations and magazines.
